Several Generations of Warmhearted Craftsmanship
I come from a long line of quilters but only took it up a couple of years ago. My grandmother made quilts and so did her mom and my grandfather’s mom. My family enjoyed my grandmother’s quilts for years. We still have several that are over 70 years old.
I learned to sew as a child and made many outfits in high school and baby clothes when my kids were young. However, I didn’t think I would ever have the knowledge and patience to become a quilter. After retirement, I had a little more of both and started out with baby quilts. You can check out my gallery to see what I’m up to today.
From simple wall hangings to one-of-a-kind heirlooms, I approach every project as a unique opportunity to create something that is beautiful and original and that expresses the love that goes into every project,
